I can't believe that I forgot to blog about this sooner! Well, Sunday was Bryan and my first anniversary. I totally thought that we weren't going to do anything special for our anniversay until about 1:00 on Saturday. Bryan was leaving to do something and before he left he said while I am gone you should pack an overnight bag, and pack one for me to. I was really confused so he spilled the whole story.
He had secretly booked a really cute hotel in Midway, Utah, which by the way is an adorable city in the mountains. I highly recommend going there if you haven't. So, when he got home on Saturday we went and checked into our hotel and went exploring Midway and Heber. By the way our dream house is in Midway (we would just like to relocate the house to San Diego) it is an amazing mansion looking house.
While driving through Heber we found a little city fair, so we stopped since I had never been on a faris wheel before. So, we rode the faris wheel and Bryan got a snow cone, and we left. We then went to old town Heber where we went into a really cool artists shop(where we couldn't afford anything, although we would have loved to buy lots of his stuff) and then we went to a place for dinner which has amazing halibut!
The next day we got to go swimming in the Midway crater (which is like a giant natural jacuzzi). It was so fun! And then we went to my favorite place in Utah, the park city outlets. I could spend a lot of money there! But, I only bought a pair of shorts at the Banana Republic outlet, which I think is my new favorite store. Then we drove around trying to find a place to have lunch and we came across a place where you could drive smart cars. They are a really small European car (if you have never seen them, you should google them they are really cool). After driving the smart cars we went to lunch at a little cafe. It was a really fun weekend, and it was so sweet of Bryan to plan it! It is so nice to have little vacations like that!
